Undying Love (2021, Concept Only)

Description

This game would be a 2D Platforming game that combines elements from the Super Mario Bros. and Metroid series to create a new experience. It would be a level-based adventure filled with secrets, characters to interact with, and abilities to discover. However, it is not in development and has not been officially started.

Story Summary

In the kingdom of Wavelia, there was a man who was simply known as "Torrent." He was a skilled acrobat and swordfighter, and was sent out to rescue a young maiden from their village, who had become well-known for showing kindness to everyone. On the way back, they fell madly in love with each other. She was endeared by his courage and skills in combat, and he loved her intellect, beauty, and sense of humor.

Some time passes, and a new threat to the kingdom arises. Reports spread that a shadowy cloud had started carrying people off, back to the Castle, and they had not returned since. The warriors of the kingdom had tried to get in to rescue those who were taken, but were not athletic enough. On the night of a full moon, Torrent wakes up to a strange sound. It was the muffled cries for help from his Beloved, as she was carried off by the dark cloud towards the castle! He chased after her, but stopped soon after--the cloud was too fast. He went back and grabbed his gear as fast as he could, and dashed into the night, determined to save his Undying Love.
